Looking into different products....

Hi Everyone!
I'm looking to try out some new products in our shop and i'm really looking to balance quality with cost as 75% of my business is wholesale business but two of my accounts are more like picky car fanatics!

Some points of interest are a good 1-2 step(we use Dewalt rotary) product for 2004 and later lease returns that are just really swirled up (light scratches are always around but not a problem at all). Also lighter cars are not what i'm interested in as I think our approach to them is fine but its more the darker cars as we seem to get killed on days in which black cars are the only ones to be worked on!

Secondly looking for a sealant that is also cost/quality effective for a higher end dealerships new car deliveries. Our goal is to wash and seal the car and try to avoid the use of any QD's as time is ALWAYS an issue.

And Finally, need to find that wax that just says HERE YOU GO! I feel our higher end customers that are willing to pay for it will appreciate it, and we detail alot of cars for a mercedes dealership that quite often displays our work on there showroom floor(of course with our advertisement) and we are getting a fair price to which the higher end wax would be justified...

In all of what you asked quality and cost are the factors / concerns...that spells Poorboys line to me.

Not a Pro and definitely not the "Best Detailer", but I have had good luck with Meguiar's, Optimum, Four Star and Duragloss as well as Poorboy's.
I haven't used all the products in any of the lines, but the products I have used performed well.
Actually, I don't recall using a bad product in years.

autowash what products are you using now with the dewalt? do you also use a DA?
I have gotten great results with many diff product lines.

you may want to pick up a glaze or two, and maybe a few sealants, and some natty's. this will make those few fanatics

Four Star Professional Polymer Paint Sealant - Four Star Pro Detailing Products

I'm not sure if this is the same formula they had 5+ years ago, but if it is, this stuff goes on easy, comes off easy, looks glossy and it fills minor marring! A little goes a long way, too. What more could you want in a sealant? (Maybe longer lasting beading, but... oh well).

PB'S hands down is great and like all the others above said its easy to use.Does the line you use now have a high end line?

Call Steve at pb's and see if he has a distributor close to you. He is great to deal with and will discuss your options with no pressure.
If it works well use this one exclusively on every detail.
