Mother's Powerball & Aluminum Polish

Just thought I'd share with you guys some amazing results I had with these two products. Mini Powerball and the Mag & Aluminum Polish.

I have been tinkering with little things here and there with my boat. I had thought about polishing these diamond tread aluminum plates on the trailer, and was at the Mart tonight and decided to give this stuff a try. I am wow'ed at the results.

Definitely not "brand new", but a heck of a lot better. Took me about five minutes for that plate. I have three more to go about the same size.

I guess I should read the directions as well, but can the powerball be cleaned or washed? It's black now, instead of the original red as is the MF towel I used.

Soak it with water then apply a generous amount of dish soap { I use dawn } and massage it good and then rinse.
It will look like new and Yes the power ball is a must have tool it works fabulous.

I have machine washed the large Powerball many times. I would not see why one would not be able to do it.

Black Bart's suggestion should work equally as well.

Quite a difference! If the trailer has aluminum wheels it will do a nice job there too.

It has chrome wheels, and they are actually in pretty good shape. I did polish them and throw on a coat of wax when I first got the boat. I recently replaced the wheel bearings, races and seals and when I did that I bought new chrome lugnuts for it. I have brought the whole thing a long way since I first bought it. I wouldn't be ashamed to post a picture now. I might try to do that the next time I get it out.

Good, I'd like to see one. That SS prop should shine up using the PB and polish too.

It's in decent shape, but I bet I can get it pretty and shiny too.

This most likely has already been considered but I would get out the file and emory paper for the nicks on the SS prop. Then I am sure that you will obtain a "Mirror Finish" in no time with out tearing the foam all to shreds.

The prop is pristine in that mater. No nicks or scrapes. The previous owner obviously never ran some of these rivers in AL.

Ya I kind of figured that but I was "right" once... back in the late 70's....I think?? I forget what the subject was but I remember how I felt and I am constantly trying to recreate that elusive feeling ever since.

I'm going to polish it up, don't get me wrong. I am just waiting to run up on some shallows or a submerged stump when the water levels drop in the rivers here. Lot's of backwater area. Lots of standing timber that is submerged. At least the river channel is wide in most places.
