Pressurized Hand Sprayers - 04-23-2008, 07:35 PM

I have searched but didn't find a good answer.

Where is everyone getting the small handheld pressurized pump sprayers? I would prefer to order online as you can usually get better product at the same price as local.

Thanks!

I haven't found any locally although I have heard they are available. Family Dollar stores was mentioned by someone.
There is a big difference in price and quality. I have heard as cheap as $3.00 and as high as $30.
If you are using harsh chemicals, the cheapies probably won't be what you want.

Is this the same as atomizer?

Ok, so there might be some confusion. I am talking about the sprayers that you pump like lawn and garden hand held sprayers.

I think Flash is looking for something like these.
Find Gilmour Hand Sprayer, 1.5 Qt and other Sprayers at Aubuchon Hardware

Or these.
Find Compressed Air Sprayer, 1.5 Qt and other Sprayers at Aubuchon Hardware

The U.S. Plastic one linked to by Low Tech is what I would consider an "atomizer" type spray bottle. They are sometimes found in cooking departments.

I buy mine at Big Lots in the hose-fittings section. $3.00.

As it stands now, I will be checking at Family Dollar today and Big Lots Friday.
The Big Lots in Des Moines doesn't seem to have a lot of the stuff I hear about in other cities. They evidently send out their inventory until they run out.

I just went to Home Depot for the sole purpose to see if they had these sprayers...I just got back to my desk, after purchasing a shovel, a rake, filters for my inline water system....and what did I forget to look for...

I've seen them at Harbor Freight too, for about $1 more than at Big Lots. There's a strip center here that has a Harbor Freight, a Big Lots, and a Dollar General, all next door to each other.
When I drive up to the strip center, about once a week, I feel like there should be a sun rising behind it, gentle sunbeams radiating out from the center, and a harp playing arpeggios.
So this is what heaven is like!
