Question Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Safe for Windshields? - 06-01-2007, 11:00 AM

Does anyone know if the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is safe for use on windshields? I'm looking for something to safely and effectively remove bug guts.

Though I have not tried it personally, member DFTowel swears by it (not at it ). Do a search and you can read his comments.

Its safe on non-tinted glass but I would not allow this stuff to run over the CC...controlling it would be my concern...there are plenty of ways to remove bugs from glass with out using something this aggressive...PB bug squash, mineral spirits, a towel soaked in vinegar with water and left soak...if cleaning glass is what you are trying to accomplish ME is a pretty aggressive move

It is safe for use on glass. It does a fine job as well. Again, props to DFTowel for the heads up on it.
