Ask Sal? Why bother? - 07-14-2006, 08:50 AM

Checking out the other forums I come across a rare posting by Sal Zaino himself. Some one commented on the similarity between a Zaino product and a Duragloss product. They assumed that they both contained a certain ingredient. Sal posted and assured everybody the Zaino product did not include this ingredient. When the poster informed Sal the the Zaino box did in fact say it contained the ingredient Sal had no idea that it did. His excuse was not doing his own proof reading.

Yeah I think I will phone Sal and ask if he manufacturers his own products. I think from his response he is not as close to the production of these products as some would have you believe. Here is the link to the thread Sal is post #14 http://www.detailersclub.com/forums/...?t=2654&page=2

That thread on the other DC was hilarious. I don't really think it's realistic to expect that Sal would know every word on the back of every box, but it was still funny when he didn't.

It's not that fact he didn't know every word on the box. I'm not unreasonable. It's the fact that this was a very specific ingredient and not one that you could consider common. It was listed on the Zaino box by mistake? Come on now. This is beyond a coincidence.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahh!!!!!

Hey, I love Zaino just as much as the next super-charged zealot but even I have to admit, that's some funny stuff!

How long has ZFX been on the market and some average Joe on the forums is finding things on the label that the owner didn't know about? Especially something that was preceeded by the word CAUTION.

Makes me want to question how much more information is not correct/hasn't been proof read.

Now that's just wrong man. That's almost as bad as the truth biscuits who think Chemical Guys making everyone's stuff without having any proof.

Maybe we should start demanding MSDS and having secret sources do chemical analysis for us. LOL

Just in fun man. I don't know if Duragloss makes his stuff. The product that was being compared in the thread was a Duragloss product and they both listed the same ingredient that Sal claimed Zaino didn't have. Relax.

I will if you provide me with a toll free number. The number listed under his signature on Deatilers Club does not appear to be toll free.

Well now, looks like he does. So now maybe you can take your conversation straight to the top and we can move on to other things here?
