1999 Vette Detail - 03-04-2010, 02:34 AM

This was a partial paint correction detail.

For one the owner didn't want to feel like he shouldn't be driving it, as it is a daily driver. The cost and time was also a concern, but I did my best to get this car looking fantastic, instead of just great. I was able to spend 9 hours on this rock hard paint though.

I know the owner at times must have felt like I was never going to leave. :buffing::buffing::buffing::buffing::buffing:

I do have to say that this car is treated like a baby and it showed. It was in very good shape after 11 years. :2thumbs: to the owner. However the paint under proper lights showed that it was in need of some TLC.

Horizontal surfaces are pretty perfect now, along with the upper part of the vertical panels. The rest is greatly improved, but not perfect.

Most people just don't know how long it takes to do a complete buff-out...

great job. i agree with everyone else. not only does the general public not understand how long a full WELL done buff out takes. The skill, and patience of the detailer often goes without the proper thanks and appreciation thats deserved.
