Garry Dean - Premium Detailed Black 2005 Lexus SC430

This detail is a 2005 Black Lexus SC430. I detailed and polished this car a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoyed polishing this car. I found the paint to be medium hardness. This vehicle was riddled with swirls and holograms. There were very few, but some deeper RIDS (random isolated deep scratches) that were unsafe to remove. This detail took me 12 hours to do a 2 step polishing process on the paint, LSP, complete interior detail/protect, wheels and tires, and engine detail. I am very pleased at how wet and deep this car looks now.

Interior
Vacuumed with Rigid 5hp Shop Vac
Leather fed with Poorboys Leather Stuff
Plastic and vinyl dressed with 303 Aerospace protectant
Carpets were already very clean after the vacuum so they were Scotch Guarded
Interior windows cleaned with Meguiars glass cleaner concentrate
Door jambs were cleaned with ONR/distilled water mix

Exterior
Washed with Dawn
Clayed with Pinnacle Clay
Dried with the Absorber
Polished with Flex 3401 and LC orange pads with Menzerna PO203
Finished with PC7424XP and LC blue pads with Optimum Finish
Exhaust tips were polished with Optimum Metal polish and #0000 ultra fine steel wool.
Glass was cleaned with Meguiars Glass cleaner concentrate
LSP was Wolfgang Fuzion

Wheels and tires
Cleaned with Dawn
Tires cleaned with Purple Power
EZ Detail brush and microfiber towels
Tires were dressed with Optimum Opti-bond tire gel with Eagle One Tire Swipes

Engine bay
Degreased with Purple Power
Agiated with various brushes
Hoses hydrated and plastic dressed with 303 Aerospace protectant

Seems like good detailing weather here in Tampa is few and far between these days! Its nice one day at about 75 degrees and sunny then the next its 50 degrees, cloudy, raining, and very windy. Sheesh!
