Sully's Detailing: 2008 White STI - 11-06-2009, 03:17 PM

South Florida's Premiere Detailing Service!!

The car was bought brand new and sat on the dealers lot for a year. The car had swirls all over it. The owner wanted to get them out and make the car look new (since he just bought it)

Wheels: DP Xtreme Foam Soap and Chemical Guys Citrus Soap (The wheels where just painted orange so no wheel cleaner was used)
Wash: DP Xtreme Foam Soap and Chemical Guys Citrus Soap was used in Auto Geek Foam Gun. Two bucket method was used with DP Xtreme Foam Soap and Mother wool mip.
Clay: Wolfgang Clay was use on the whole car with DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss as clay lube
Paint Correction: M105 with Flex Light Weight and LC Hydro Cutting pad. Fallowed by M105 with PC and LC Organge CCS pad. Then M205 with PC and LC flat White pad.
LSP: Pinnacle Liquid Sourvan applied with PC @ 2 with Red LC pad.
** No tire shine was used on the tires because these wheels and tires are used for road racing.

Before:
These swirls were all over the car. It looked pretty bad for a white car.

After:
These pictures where took today the paint correction was done on Tuesday but due to a time crunch and poor lighting no after pictures were took till today. There pictures were taken after the car was washed again and Pinnacle Crystal Mist was applied. It was over cast today so it wasnt really sunny. But you can still see there is a big diffrence in the paint.

For white to show swirls like that it must have been bad! Looks great now, nice work.

Thanks, I washed it last week and I told the owner look at this its horrible for a white car so he asked me to correct it so I did so it was alot of fun. I got to use my new flex lightweight.

Damn...probably lot-washed it with a brush. I like those STi's...can't say I like the wheels. Nice work, nonetheless.

2010 Hyundai Santa Fe - Harbor Gray

Even sometimes I, in a moment of what could only be described as pure sanity, question the rationality of this obsession.
