This is a very rare Mercedes. You don't see many of these around town.

Corrected the paint with the FLEX and Four Star 6.5" polishing pad & Meguiar's 105 followed with Four Star's Pro SMR (and another Four Star polishing pad) and Four Star UPP by hand.

Stoner's MSLT for tires and Duragloss Rain Repel on the windshield.

It's being donated to The Winefest Auction locally from a good customer of mine. I'm betting it will go for at least a thousand dollars more now that I have detailed it.

I can only say that I hope Sheila doesn't catch wind of your chosen thread topic.

Nice job. Odd looking little thing, isn't it? So, just how did 105 finish down? Obviously not LSP ready.

I did that whole cart in an hour from start to finish. It finished down pretty darn good. I just decided to work the finish a little with the SMR to finish it and it definitely helped. It was an experiment. I bet I could have gotten the 105 to finish out better with a little finessing but I wanted to try the SMR as a follow up.

I did manage to buff part of the pin stripe off of the hood. Shame on me for getting too aggressive with that area. It didn't matter though because I just turned a double stripe into a single stripe which looked better to me anyway.

Not exactly what I had in mind when I saw the title but great job!

Even sometimes I, in a moment of what could only be described as pure sanity, question the rationality of this obsession.
