Premium Detailed Yellow 1999 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet - 03-10-2009, 07:51 AM

This is a detail I did last Thursday. As you may recall I posted an 07 Black Sapphire Metallic BMW M Coupe write up of a detail I did a few weeks ago for this same client. I’m not in the mood for a complete write up, but I enjoyed this one a lot so I figured Id show it off.

The car was swirled pretty bad, but I found the paint to be on the softer side.

I’m not going to post any befores of the car itself because we all know what dirty cars look like and pics just don’t say enough until the detailing process has started. Here is a pic of one of the rear rims before.

I wanted to try something new on this detail and I have seen some decent reviews on this stuff so here you go. These are just a couple of pics after G110 with Orange LC and Meguiars Ultimate Compound.

Now an after of the same wheel as above. The wheels got Optimum Metal Polish on the chrome lips and then 2 coats of wheel wax. This pic was taken before I applied any tire dressing, but they got Meguiars Endurance Tire Gel. They came out pretty good.

Here’s a reflection of me after the detail was finished giving a thumbs up!

Now for a few afters. The sun had almost gone down by the time I was done, but I like the way these pics turned out, nice reflections. The Ultimate Compound left the paint LSP ready so I applied 1 coat of Collinite 476s and topped it with Optimum Car Wax.

This one was as I was driving away. Yes that is the BMW from my last write up in front.

Thanks for looking!

It's amazing to me how many expensive high end cars I run across that have been abused like this. It's great for us because we become heroes and that customer becomes a life long advertiser for your business.

Looks great.

Man, that paint was rough for a Porsche, great turn around! Never was a fan of Yellow, but somehow on that car I like it.

Seriously...great work.

2010 Hyundai Santa Fe - Harbor Gray

Even sometimes I, in a moment of what could only be described as pure sanity, question the rationality of this obsession.
