    WaxWorks: Back in Black!

These are the two last vehicles I detailed; a 2003 Toyota Celica GT and 2006 Dodge Ram 4x4 crew cab, both in black.

    The process: Celica
    • washed with CAR Products Susdational car wash shampoo
    • tires cleaned with CAR Products Maxiwhite tire cleaner
    • wheels cleaned with CAP Products Magnum wheel cleaner
    • clayed with Meguiar`s blue Detailing Clay
    • buffed with Meguiar`s #83 DACP via rotary with a 3m Foam pad
    • polished with Meguiar`s #9 swirl remover 2.0 via PC with a Sonus swirlbuster pad
    • tires dressed with Stoners More Shine, wheel wells dressed with Meguair`s Hyper dressing
    • windows cleaned with Stoner`s Invisible Glass
    • exterior glass treated with Rain X
    • Interior was vacuumed
    • caprpet, mats and cloth seating surfaces were extracted with a Bissel LGM and Zep Carpet/Upholstery cleaner
    • interior door panels and dash were cleaned with Meguiar`s Interior QD
    • LSP was Meguiar`s #21 Synthetic Sealant via PC with a Sonus finishing pad.

    Reflection shots

    The Process: 2006 Dodge Ram

This was a beast.. 4 wheel drive, crew cab, it barely fit into my garage!
It had some deep scracthes and door dings and the paintwork felt like 360 grit sandpaper!

Here are the worst of the scratches and dings... every panel had something!

    • washed with CAR Products Susdational car wash shampoo
    • tires cleaned with CAR Products Maxiwhite tire cleaner
    • wheels cleaned with CAP Products Magnum wheel cleaner
    • clayed with CAr Products Detailing Clay X 2
    • buffed with Meguiar`s #2 Fine cut cleaner via rotary with a 3m Foam pad
    • buffed with with Meguiar`s #83 DACP via PC with a Sonus swirlbuster pad
    • polished with Meguiar`s #9 swirl remover 2.0 via PC with a Sonus polishing pad
    • tires dressed with Stoners More Shine, wheel wells dressed with Meguiar`s Hyper dressing
    • windows cleaned with Stoner`s Invisible Glass
    • exterior glass treated with Rain X
    • Interior was vacuumed
    • carpet, mats and cloth seating surfaces were extracted with a Bissel LGM and Zep Carpet/Upholstery cleaner
    • interior door panels and dash were cleaned with Meguiar`s Interior QD
    • LSP was Meguiar`s #21 Synthetic Sealant via PC with a Sonus finishing pad.

This was just after claying the tailgate...

Scratches after wet sanding with 3M 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper with Meguiar`s #34 final inspection as a lubricant...

The finisihed job.. 9 hours later!

2007 Ford Edge, 2006 Mustang GT, 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2001 Ford F150 Supercrew, 2001 Ford Mustang... A clean car is a happy car!

Nice job on the Black. Nine hours for a beast....hmmm? How did you get it done in that time frame? J/K Put a tonneau cover on it and it will take two hours more...LOL!

And here I thought this was just an AC/DC tune/album. Nice job!
