I decided to try the "new" Menzerna 106FA on this Silver Bimmer 645Ci. First, it was compounded with 3M Perfect-It 3000 and a wool pad. Then a quick power wash and dry to apply the Menzerna 106FA.

The biggest difference between the FA and the FF is the increased working time available and the haze that needs to be wiped off with a microfiber towel. The older FF could be polished to clear but the new FA produces an absolutely liquid gloss.

I`ll probably put a coat a Souveran tomorrow as a topper.

After 106FA with a dark finish pad

Even the "Mr 3M Dealer" liked the gloss of Menzerna...I swear he`s on their Board of Directors LOL.

Sounds like the new FA is similar to the new Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0. Made by Menzerna and has a longer working time as well.

NICE! The FA seems to do quite well with hard BMW paints.

You just can`t beat Menzerna shine level!!!

I think I`m down to my last few quarts of 85RD and may have to try at least a quart of the FA. Wonder how well it will do with softer paints?

Didn`t someone say that the FA didn`t cut as much as the FF?

Great job, Toto. Any sun shots? Did you use anything underneath the Souveran?
