Karl WASH YOUR WHEELS![8D] This is his rinse water

The lie that is washing with dawn to remove all old waxes and sealants. This shot is after washing his car with dawn and washing it with car wash soap. You can see the stellar beading. Solely due to the wax still left on the car.

The method: mix car wash soap in foam gun

    wash car,

    car still beads,

    mix dawn in foam gun,

    soak car 5 min.

    car still beads.

There is no majic sealant on this car just 2 layers of natty`s blue 3 weeks ago.

PS the curvature of the car distorts my shape, normally i am twice this fat!

She`s all taped up and ready for compounding and polish. I have alot of work ahead of me. At this point i was figuring on 6-8 hours, it turned out to be 11 hours of compound, polish and wax.

    secretly this is supermans car.

Here is the after and before pic of the hood. left side is

    ssr 2.5 twice

    ssr 1 twice

    pro polish 3 times.

both sides of the hood finished, polishing finished no wax. Viable is pitting pin head dots. I think they are probably from sanded roads in AK.

Ouch! Audis! Is there hazing on the paint or is that just how your camera defuses light?

I had a black A6 the other day. Fun. Believe me, I know how your day went!

Great finish! I hate working on Audi Paint, but the payoff is a fantastic looking car that you can drive hard and proud! Again Nice work!

Yes there was, even before i started. But there are also little micro pits. This car came from colorado to ketchican alaska to seattle. So it spent most of it`s time in sanded/salted snow roads.

The hazing disapeard after the 2.5 and ssr1. but I could not do anything about these tiny little pits. Every portion of this car has them.

Really wierd. I had tried to clay a few spots but nothing happened.
