    Subject: Black Envoy

    Task: Exterior/Tail Tinting

    Process:

XP Compound via PC cutting pad

    Clay vehicle

SSR 2.5 via PC and mild cutting pad

Swirl Free Polish via PC and polishing pad

    Collonite 476S for durability

    Blue Magic on rims

    Trim restorer on tires/trim

    Dress It on wheel wells

    Pictures:

Tint before/after. I`m sure you can tell which one. Running lights were on at the time, so its lighter than they look when off. I used 3 coats of NiteShades, followed by 3000 grit sanding (3 passes just to knock the dust out), and then #82.

Great cleanup, the tails look really clean now and compliment the body color well.

Did that used to be a concrete company truck? Looks NASTY!

Are you talking about the hood shot? Thats orange peel (waves in the paint), pretty much every new car has that in the current days of our lives. :har:

Sean, he lives in a new development, so there is much EVERYWHERE. Mixed with all the rain we`ve had recently, I`m not really surprised.

    Nice job!

How do you like the AM polishes? I have a couple bottles I got for real cheap, I wasn`t sure if the XP Compound or Syntheticut had fillers.
