Hello everyone, I am new to this site and was just wondering if someone could help me out with my car. I got a black Mazda Millenia and have minor swirl marks on it. I have been using just meguires cleaner and Klasse AIO then went over that with P21S carnaubia wax. I also have a dual-action polisher if that makes any difference. If someone could help me out that would be great!

A good place to start is get some quality foam pads for the D/A machine you have. LC is very good as well as propel and sonus. There is a plethora of polishes out there that will do the job of removing the swirl marks. I personally use poorboys, menzerna and 3M. If they are minor swirls I personally would buy some PB`s SSR2.5 and menzerna FP. that is my favorite combo. Top it with AIO and your LSP and you are good to go. Check out the Machine polsihing forum, there is a lot of good information there about How-to.

Hope this helps a little bit.

that depends on the severity of the marring. I would personally use SSR2.5 with a polishing pad first to see if that removes the marring, if not I would bump up to a cutting pad. Menzerna FP I would use a polishing pad to remove what marring the cutting pad made along with the hazing from the 2.5 if any.

Getting black picture-perfect via DA is pretty tough. I would follow Scott`s polish regimen, but then substitute ClearKote Vanilla Moose and Red Moose Machine Glaze for AIO. This pairing will help to hide anything that you couldn`t/didn`t polish out, and help to give the black a deep and wet look. Follow with your carnuba of choice, and I think you`ll find the results worthwhile .

Was that via PC? I`m quite impressed, I never got black that good until I got a rotary. Part of that is ADD, though .

I`ll also recommend SSR2 and SSR2.5 for swirl removal. They work great in the sun, and even SSR2.5 can leave a haze-free finish. That`s great for a moderate swirl mark remover.

I wish i could get my 4wheeler to look that good. I`m gonna go down to the advanced autoparts and get some black krylon paint and paint it black and shine it up like that.

i`m not going to pep boys anymore cause the said I was late in making a couple of the payment on my 4wheeler and jacked up the interest rate.

how do you use that cyclone thing to make it shine like that?

Polish, glaze and seal the paint.
