Hey whats up? There has been a bit of talk here lately about where to get "Good" and Fairly priced detailing products here in Canada without ordering from the net. I know a guy in T.O who sells asome products like,

    NXT

    Klasse

    P21s

    303

    meguiars

    microfiber

I even bought a 3000 rpm circular polisher with a compounding pad for $99 CDN

Finding pads and spurs is tough here. This guy is awsome. You can just pick up whatever you need. No waiting. If you want NXT for your ride this weekend just go grab it.

Anyways the purpose for this post is to find out where our fellow Canadians get their quality products from.

So please let me and the other Canadian Autopians in on the action.......................

In Canada, I`ve bought from eShine and CarCareSmart and both of them offered great service and products.

However, I`m looking to buy a PC 7336 in Canada for a good price and can`t find one. CarCareSmart sells them but they`re Out of Stock :-(

    I highly suggest www.eshine.ca

I haven`t placed an order in awhile with them, but I will be soon and the service that Chris offers is awesome! Very Fair prices as well!

I also order from Meguiar`s Canada in Mississauga! Just call ahead and then pick it up! Not sure that they deliver??

Also...The PC 7336 is kind of hard to find in retail stores, but Canadian Tire sells the PC 7424!

And amazingly, you can buy 303 products at Zeller`s! Go figure!

    Clinton,

What make of polisher did you buy? That`s a good price!

I picked up a PC 7424 from coastaltool.com a couple of weeks ago. It includes the velcro pad and 6" counterweight.

It took a week to get here and the price ended up being about CDN$175 including shipping plus tax. Make sure you ask for it to be sent USPS. It might be a few bucks cheaper now because of the exchange rate.

I believe CT sells it for $240 plus tax. I also called PC in Guelph - they had refurbished models for $180 I think (no velcro pad and no 6" counterweight). I also knew more than the customer service rep and wasn`t confident about ordering from them.

If you`re in Ottawa (i think you mentioned before that you are?) are) CarQuest on Startop (in the east end off of Innis) has DACP and other Megs Pro line Products.

I buy all my polishing supplies from Norton (re-badged Autoglym and used on Dream Car Garage) and they are available from APC (Automotive Paint Centres) across Southern Ontario. Best stuff out there for polishing hands down.

Hey thanks guys for the info on getting DACP.

    Bob,

You`re right I am in Ottawa now, where do you normally go to buy stuff locally? (that`s if you do) I just moved here so I`m not too familar with the local shops.

    Chris,

    Your site looks great!

How are the Norton Pads? I just seen some 6.5 inch ones in Napa. Wasn`t sure if they are any good.

The foam pads are good but really no better than anyone elses but the genuine lambswool are incredible. They take a little getting used to using but once you have the usage/technique down they will absolutely destroy the results you will get with anything else.

The pickins are pretty slim in Ottawa for the most part. Carquest is good for Meguiars stuff. Or you can find 3M stuff at NAPA on Industrial. Other than that i go to Canadian Tire for over the counter stuff.

I`ve also bought from eshine.ca and carcaresmart. Both offer excellent service and quick delivery and have different product lines. But eshine.ca is closer to Ottawa for shipping. www.carcaresmart.com is based in BC.

Are you lookmig to stock up for next summer or do you detail your car in the winter too ?
