"Dots" in the paint after polishing?

Ive been really busy lately, but decided i couldnt wait any long to try my new stuff on my truck. I took the tailgate off and gave the PC and 1Z line up a whirl on it. The truck is midnight blue, and my process was UPP 1x w/ yellow cutting, PP 1x w/ orange cutting/polishing and MP 1x w/ white polishing. The UPP and PP seemed to eliminate almost all of the swirl marks and marring, which i was pleased with, but MP did not seem to make a noticeable improvement. After all was said and done, i did the top half of thegate w/ NXT and bottom half with Glanz Wax for a comparison. When i check from different angles, all the swirls are gone and there are just scratches left that are too bad for the PC to get out, but there are also these "dots". They are tiny tiny little spots like a super lightrain drizzle, but i cannot feel them, only see them. They dont buff off and they are rather annoying me. Any ideas where i went wrong? the paint looks and feels 90-95% better, but i know theres that exact 5-10% that im missing.

Could be fallout. Did you clay or fallout wash before doing the above work?

yup. washed clayed washed polished. these "spots" are like tiny tiny little rocked came and hit the paint anddented it.

That`s weird. Did you notice them before?

You sure it`s just not orange peel?

I saw these when I buffed on an older corvette also. They are tiny pits in the paint, and you might have gotten some polish stuck in them. Try cleaning them out with a paint cleaner, or darken the spots with glaze.

beanbag sounds like he got it. These spots are honestly like pin points in size. Guess ill have to see about other ways to deal with them. Thanks fellas

Sounds like solvent pop to me. Kinda like tiny air bubbles in the clear. Not fun, and not really correctable. Such is life.

Saw this today. Very strange indeed. What is stranger is it is on both a newish car and an older repaint!

I`m searching everywhere on this topic for my sad friend who thinks she put these into her paint.

I have millions of these little pin head dots everywhere on my paint!

No matter how nice the car looks, everybody says "Wow..what are all these"?.........arghhhhhhhhhh!

A lot of these types of questions have been going around:nixweiss so I`ve taken a more resent picture with a better camera to show what they look like close up:

Thes cannot be felt and can only be seen up close

This shot is a zoomed in Marco shot, these can barely be seen from about 3-4feet away (you`d have to be looking for them)
