There is no real need to buf a new car with a PC....I`m guessing. Since it is Memorial Day weekend, I have 3 solid days with my new baby, so I was gonna do the Zaino treatment and use the PC on my girlfriend`s car and probably do both of my parents cars too. Should I not touch the new paint with the PC and just Zaino....or PC it with Ultra Polish then Zaino???

I don`t see the need to polish as it`s a new car (and by new I assume you don`t mean used but new to you.)

I would clay it though. Junk accumulates even in transport.

    Nicky...you`re gonna love that Cobra!

When I got mine, I just did the Zaino and claybar. Some have had different experiences with Zaino and a PC, but I find it much easier and faster by hand. Plus, Sal seems to think you waste lots of polish by the pads soaking it up.

Here`s my Cobra from another Autopia link.

If the car`s been sitting on a lot for over a year now, it may need a light polishing. If not, just clay and wax.

I hope you don`t mean IZ Ultra Polish. It`s way too aggressive for a new car.

A light polish will go great with a new car, something like SSR1 will add substantial shine. Use the 7336 to apply and remove sealants.

As a final buff check this tip out

hopefully the dealer doesn`t let their detailing department get ahold of the car before you do or else you will need to polish it.
