I have an `03 BMW ///M3 with nappa leather. I`ve heard that a special cleaner and conditioner must be used. Is this true. I don`t want a shiny finish, I want it to be protected, not like I went crazy spraying armor-all. Thanks for the help.

i have an 02 M3 and i use Leatherique... i`ve tried Lexol but i think the Leatherique is much better at getting into the soft leather. my leather feels buttery soft...

i haven`t experienced it myself, but i`ve heard that on softer leathers the Lexol can clog the pores of the leather and make the surface sticky. probably because of over-conditioning anyway.

i also keep a small microfiber towel in the car to wipe dust that builds up on the seats and dash... and when i detail i get the dirt out of the cracks and stuff with a small brush...
