Featherlite, Inc. to Release Its Custom Formula Auto Polish and Car Wash Products Used by Race Teams to The Public



CRESCO, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 2003--Featherlite®, Inc. (Nasdaq:FTHR - News) will make available to consumers--for the first time ever--the auto polish and wash products used by NASCAR teams for years. Marketed by Featherlite Chemicals, LLC under the "Featherlite Premium Auto Polish" and "Featherlite Car Wash" labels, these Winston Cup Series-licensed products will be on shelves and the Internet beginning this month.

Featherlite, the official trailer and coach of NASCAR, has been using the custom formula auto polish and wash for eight years exclusively for owners of its million dollar luxury motorcoaches.



Dale Jarrett, 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup Series Champion, who has used the Featherlite products for a number of years, will be a spokesperson for the new brands.

It adds a tough polymer protection and can dramatically deepen color. The product also reduces UV ray damage. It glides on and off easily and is safe for all car and truck finishes.



The launch of the product line this month is scheduled to include a feature on the QVC Television Network. The product also will be available at participating Featherlite dealers and stores throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as online.



Featherlite Car Wash cleans and shines, but does not remove valuable wax protection. It is clear coat safe. The product gently washes away dirt, grime and other contaminants without detergent burn. It is designed for frequent washing and its conditioners extend the life of the polish.
