do you think that my menzerna IP will remove it? im getting frustrated meguiars says they have nothing that will remove 1500 and they dont guarantee plastx will remove it either

i use SIP all the time with 1500 on head lights and it works great. small 3 1/2 orange pad and it takes 5 seconds
2000 Meguiars unigrit sanding marks come out of headlights with my G110 using a burgandy cutting pad and #105. Same pad and polish via rotary and it is pretty much instant.
FWIW, Meguiars M105 will remove 1200 grit or finer sanding scratches. Of course this is when using the right pad (wool) and tool (rotary) for the job. Make it easier on yourself and go with a finer grit paper as stated above.
i dont have a rotary maybe thats why?
should i use a drill instead or just go with 3k as stated above and try IP
i think IP and SIP have the same cutting if im not mistaken.
I was using IP with an orange pad ill try it again this weekend
i think ill try resanding to 3k then orange pad and IP then 106FF
this sound good?
may i ask what you are using as far as machine? if you`re using a PC type machine going to 3000 would help
thats correct
PC 7424 i beleive it is i thoguth of even going 4k butn ot sure if its to big of a jump.
You think IP would do the work with 3k and 4k
I`ve noticed that quite a few people here use 1500 grit for final sanding on headlights without much problems.
Your sanding marks are probably tracers. It would help if you use unigrit as well.
I`ll use anything at this point right now its annoying its smooth but still hazy i have to remove the haze
ill try to go up to 3000 before trying it again hopefully that will fix my problem if not i will have to try compound
