I just used my new ONR... i want to say i LOVE it 1st.

However, it didnt seem as though the dirt was coming out of my wool washing mit (and going into the bucket). Is this supposed to happen? And then when i put it in the washing machine it looks as though it is coming out very well.

Anyone else have this happen to them.

Also, can you use grout sponges with ONR?

    ,Daniel

    And thanks for the help

Yeah whatever wash media you use with ONR, It`s going to get dirty. Even if you rinse it alot.

I don`t know if dirt is supposed to look like it`s stuck in the washing mitt, but that seems to be how it works when I use ONR.

I`ve used a grout sponge with ONR with no problems, but now I just have a dedicated old MF that I use for ONR.. it used to be white and now it`s gray.

Haha yeah I ONR`d my 350Z today and even ringing out the dirty mf towels after each pass in a clean bucket of water doesnt make the water very dirty. My only complaint with ONR. Hence why I use plain jane MF towels, so I have many sides to work with. Not just one mitt that traps all the dirt.

I used a grout sponge to ONR today, and it worked fine. I had the exact same problem with my sheekskin wash mitt, the dirt and whatnot would not leave the mitt. The rinse bucket barely got dirty at all. But with the grout sponge you can see the dirt on the sponge after you clean the panel, and then after you stick it in the rinse bucket and massage the dirt out, you can clearly see whether or not the dirt is still there. Most of the time it comes out no problem.

I agree. My sheepskin mit comes out of the rinse bucket very clean when I use QEW. I can typically wash at least 2 cars with a mit before having to wash the mit.

I use Dawn Power Dissolver to clean my mitt/sponge after using ONR, works great.

Same here, but ONR flat works better than QEW in all other respects. Slicker, cleaner, glossier and glass comes out better.

true but nothing some 425 will not fix

I understand for a pro like your self that is an extra step

but for a cheap person like myself that has a bunch of QEW still to get through

for now it`s QEW then 425

Hope the next version of ONR or some other brand can make a hose-less wash that releases the dirt into the bucket instead of collecting it in the wash media.

All I`ve ever used with ONR is a grout sponge. It collects dirt until the spring when I start doing foamgun washes agian.

Why? It doesn`t affect performance at all.

Exactly what i was thinking. Plus, it washes out in the washer. I put it in and its CLEAN as a whistle! Only problem, my mit is a little old and gets stiff after it dries.
