For anyone who has used both of these products. How does the new turtle wax compare to the Mothers wax (step 3 paste wax)

Ive never used the TWP but Ive used Mothers a great deal. Its still one of the best "OTC" carnaubas you can find. A highly ignored and very good wax thats inexpensive.

I`ve used both, and like both. TWP is a wax/poly blend with cleaners, ala Gold Class; the look is more like MPPP. It would be a better choice for use as a one-step. Mother`s is a non-cleaning Carnauba, and would require more prep.

We have a lot of high quality products available on the consumer shelves right now. The average guy/gal looking to wax a car is miles ahead of where he/she would have been 5 years ago.

Gee, I wish the Mothers was a cheap OTC wax. For me here in Australia, its a $55/jar proposition! ( almost US$40 ), I was contemplating it the other day when I picked up some WAUD and the smell is nice ( bananas ). I imported 2 jars of S100 for a little more than that, including shipping.

You guys and gals in the states get it easy I tell ya........

Ive used both Mothers straight carnuba and Turtle Ultra Platium and I find them great products , Although they are two different systems. Turtle Ultra is more of a one step on a nice car , Mothers carnuba is #3in a 3step process. Turtle Ultra is one of the best consumer waxes out their, equal to NXT and Gold Class. I tried Turtle Ultra spray detailer today . It also is very good ,brings out a lot of deptand hides lite scratches.

Can u use the Turtle Ultra Spray Detailer as a QD for removing dusts, fingerprints, etc? Or is it more suitable for cleaned surfaces and be used as a quick wax? Thanks.
