    I thought I had seen someone post that they liked DG 501 better than 105 on paint.`` 501 is marketed for marine use.

    501 is marketed for marine use but many folks, like me, have been using it for years on their cars. `It absolutely will not harm paint. `It`s a much better cleaner, IMO, than 105 (which I find to have nearly no cleaning ability) `but I often layer the 501 with 105 because I think 105 leaves a better appearance. `Of course, I just about always top the 105 with 845, so....At any rate I highly recommend 501.

    105 looks better and lasts longer up to a year if mixed with 601. The killer sealant combo in my opinion is prepping with squeaky clean which cleans even better than 501 and following with a 105/601 mixture. 4 parts 105, 1 part 601....or even skip the 105/601 and go with their new coating which btw is great.
