Hey guys can everyone just post their wheel cleaner of choice and a brief reason for the nasty wheels they encounter. I have to buy something for the really bad stuff where time is a concern just because I cant spend such huge amounts of time(and money) on wheels when on a time restriction. I know our european friends fancy megs wheel brightener a whole lot but I`m just not sure what my next time and money effective choice is going to be. Need opinions. Many thanks

I like Eagle One All Wheel and Tire Cleaner. It`s cheap, you can get it anywhere, and it`s one of the best rubber cleaners I`ve used. The fact that you can clean your wheels and tires in one step is also a big plus to me.

If you`re irritated by every rub, how will you be polished?

Wheel Brightener is the only way to go on the real bad ones, IMHO.

    4:1 twice, no agitation.

    Who makes Wheel Brightener? Megs?

Ive used E1, they have a few versions, including whats pictured above, and they work well for fairly cheap.

If youre wheels don`t dust alot, Id suggest P21s gel. It works great.

Another vote for Meg`s Wheel Brightener... that and P21S are the only 2 I use... P21S on more "sensitive" wheels

I actually documented my recent use of Wheel Brightner on my sister`s Audi wheels which were not cleaned for 3 months straight.

The wheels received NO aggitation with a product ratio of 1:2 and rinsed with a regular hose nozzle. Product was left to sit for EXACTLY 45 seconds. Amazing how it cleaned all the nooks and crannies soo well. Not one brush touched these wheels.

I also recommend the Eagle One All Wheel Cleaner. Works great, good price, and can be had OTC. Like Al mentioned, not only does it work well on wheels but is also an excellent tire cleaner. You really see the grime start coming off the moment you spray it on.

But in the future, I`ll eventually add Meg`s Wheel Brightener to my arsenal as I still want/need something stronger than the E1 Wheel/Tire cleaner. Cost wise, I don`t know if any other wheel cleaner is as cost-effective as WB since it costs less than $25 and can be diluted.

What ratio did you dilute it or was it full strength??
