I am getting my truck back from the body shop soon, and after I wash it, i`m sure I would want to QD the thing. I dont, however, want to leave anything on the paint. Is there a QD that just cleans, and does not leave any wax?

It depends what you mean by wax? Tons of QDs dont have any wax, but they act as "mini sealants". If you want nothing behind, try ONR.

I just ran out of #34. Would megs quick detail work just as good?

I have some ONR also, but I thought that left behind something. It`s going on new paint, so I dont want to leave behind any wax or sealant.

You could also use Duragloss FC&S, if you have any on hand. I believe it is mainly just gloss enhancers and surface cleaners...very little, if any protective additives.

You could also use a glaze like meguiars #7, that will make it look great and contains no waxes or sealants.

ONR will leave some polymer protection behind. Whether it would be enough to inhibit outgassing of fresh paint...:nixweiss

Both Quik Shine and Spray and Gloss are free of waxes but probably contain gloss enhancing agents of sorts. Spray and Wipe would be the only QD-type product with just cleaners in it.

Yet another +1 on #34. This is exactly what it`s made for. You could also use ONR mixed to QD strength or PB S&W.
