Dave this was all done by hand, I really don't see how anyone can use a machine on a bike, there are so many angles. Hardly a flat area on the bike, unless you have a 3 inch or so pad size on a rotary. Even with that the amount of surface area that you would cover is very limited.


I haven't done a bike yet that I have not been able to get great results by hand using the right chemicals and applicators

very nice work. i think i can wash,polish and seal my f150 in less time than it takes me to detail my harley. i do have a griots 3" da that i use on it with the constant battle to keep the vivid black paint presentable.

Im not really sure how I missed this when it was new, but nice work. Ive not done a Harley or a cruiser in general since buying my Griots 3in, but its a God-send when working on my crotch rocket. I can see it being a useful tool for big cruisers too.

I think a 3" would work well for the tank and maybe if you used it to polish some of the chrome but I think a lot would still need to be done by hand
