black plastic parts - 04-19-2009, 06:01 PM

I have started cleaning up my 2001 polaris genesis and getting ready to ride as soon as the water warms up a bit more. It was given a bath with 4/1 ratio of apc to get all the crude out of the cracks. Then two coats of pwc,ex and qw+. It looks better than new except for all the black plastic parts.I thought about repainting parts, but i want to give some product a chance that will hold up on the water.Any suggestions.I dont want to redo everytime i go out. Thanks

What kind of plastic parts? Are they smooth? If so then use a good polish. I like using Poorboy's Polish w/Sealant on smooth black plastic.

If its the porous plastic you're talking about the Ultima's Trim Guard will put a nice coating that is very durable especially to water.
