Latest Aircraft Jobs - 12-23-2008, 12:35 AM

Just wanted to show off some of the planes I've done in the last few months. I managed to hook up with a mechanic with a serious reputation and now he's referring me to all his customers. Major Congrats to Express detail on the Citation job.
So far, corporate jets are still a wet dream for me...but I'm working my way up!!

Nice job. I always wanted to give a plane a try.
I like the above wing planes for a small personal plane.
When flying over stuff you can look strait down out of the window and not see a wing.

Wow, that Mooney Ovation 3 is like the Ferrari of light airplanes. Both in performance and price. Congrats, Alphaomega, next time could you show us more detailed pictures and explanantions?

Was that ear or rear? I still don't quite have your typing down. Could possibly have meant Leer Campers.

My boss just picked up a new '08 Mooney Acclaim - Type S. Amazing aircraft! 280hp and 242 knots. The twin turbos make a big difference. Especially at altitude. The Garmin G1000 does some cool stuff as well. It will show obstacles and terrain on the display like you are looking out of a window or at a video camera feed. The auto pilot will do everything but actually touch the plane down. It is also a "paperless" cockpit.

He had a Mooney Porsche before, that was a great plane in it's own right, but the new one is leaps and bounds better.

Pander, the first time I saw one of these things "land" I almost dialed 911. Very neat plane.

Stained paint - 11-18-2009, 08:13 AM

I tend a 2008 PA46T, Piper Meridian with a Pratt & Whitney turbine engine.
The turbine exhaust 'scud' accumulates on certain areas of the aircraft, worst being the underside of the left horizontal stabilizer. In that area the paint is stained and nothing I've tried short of 2000 grit sand paper will remove it.
Anyone have ideas ?

Thanks Jim
