36ft Rv (How much should i charge) - 11-18-2005, 07:37 AM

I have to do a 36ft rv, how much should I charge? The rv is not in bad shape, ill be cleaning top to bottom, inside and out.

Im thinking $500

That's a pretty good number, but that's A LOT OF TRUCK! It's like detailing a Tractor/trailer.

You could spend 2 days just on the interior....

You probably should check the condition of the vehicle before giving a quote.

Tar, carpet mud, stains, paint condition, etc.

Does he want it waxed/polished? Charge more.

I always do an estimate based on $35 an hour. Multiplied by 20 hours work would be $700. If you're willing to take less, you might get down to $500.

By the foot.

For boats I charge about $20/ft for 2 step polishing and 1 step sealing. This includes all of the little items too like cleaning the interior and polishing the brightwork.

For 1 step polishing/sealing I charge between $10-15 a foot depending on condition.

These prices are from the water line up.


For this job, I could sit around what Bill said @ $700. Make sure you stress how this will include undercarriage, side, roof, interior, etc. Its a HUUUGE job.

we start our pricing at 10 ft and goes up depending on the condition but that is for outside only, it also depends on what your plann is 1 step 2 step and so fourth, we have done a few and they are monsters but fun because its different than normal. here is one we take care of
