    Blue Nappa Leather seats

    Hello

I have in my car, blue Nappa leather seats and have decided `Leatherique` as the way to go for conditioning and cleaning (have read good things about 4* Ultimate as well, but can`t find it here in Canada).

My question is: will Leatherique change the color or darken the seats at all? The shade of blue is light, not like a dark blue.

    TIA

Not having worked with the product that you are talking about. It might darken the leather a little bit but over all I doubt that you will notice it. Can you get Lexol up your way? the cleaners and condidtioners are pretty good.

I can; however, from reading people`s reviews it leaves a shine (which I don`t want) and it doesn`t clean or rejuvenate as well. What are your thoughts on Lexol?

I`ve used Lexol for years and you can buff the finish with a cotton towel after. Either way you can`t go wrong with each product any portection is better than nothing. Can you not get four star up your way at all? PAC cannot ship to you?

I am using the Leatherique system now, Read here:

Also, I just used the 4* Leather Cleaner and Conditioner yesterday on my wifes car. They are great too. I love the smell of that conditioner. It makes your leather smell new again.

Cleaning leather is simple. You most likely have it.

Mix up some Woolite and distilled water. 6 parts distilled water, 1 part Woolite. Use a spray bottle and if you need a brush, use ONLY horsehair.

Get a few clean damp terry towels. Spray the leather with the Woolite mix, brush if needed, use the damp towels to wipe off excess Wollite. Use a few dry ones and wit until fully dry before treatment.

Treat with Zaino Z-10 and it will smell brand new! Closest thing to new leather smell I`ve found.

Look at it this way, I have an Ecru interior (cream white) and I`m always cleaning it! Woolite is recommended, but not in name by Lexus for leather cleaning. You don`t need heavy treatments as all new leathers today are all coated just like a clearcoat, but just for leather. Still breaths, just harder to stain.

The Leatherique products are great. I especially like the pristine clean cleaner. After treating the leather with the rejuvenator oil and then cleaning with pristine clean, the leather has no residue or color change.
