    Re: New ride first detail

Great new car, enjoy ition the best of health.

I am a bit of an authority of have 3 whites, a Silver and a light charcoal gray. After owning a Black car the color choices are no accident. I needed to work and could not mess with my car as much as a black one required to look right (IN MHO)

Anyway, if you are going to go through all the effort to wash to perfection, clay, decon and apply an LSP. My thought process is to use the longest lasting, best looking product you can find. That equals a coating. It takes no longer to apply but lasts 4-8 times as long with minimal effort.

    Some good ones are:

    1. Opticoat 2.0 replaced by Gloss Coat (I have used the 2.0)
    2. GTECH EXO v2 used it and loved it. Its my current favorite
    3. CQuartz-Lots of good guys swear by the stuff so I am sure its legit

There are others but I am not familiar so I will not mention.

    Good Luck and BTW-White Rules.

What are the opinions of using these products on a white paint. Will they not only protect but also make the paint look richer/deeper?

The Opticoat will be more mar resistant amd the EXO more hydrophobic. But thats splitting hairs. They are both solid performers.
