Re: Headlight Polishing Made TOO Easy?!?! - Detailers All In One Headlight Restoration Polish vs. oxidized headlights

Sure looks amazing and a heck of a lot easier than sanding for the oxidation (not rock chips and stuff you mentioned in the previous posts.) Looks like a winner for sure. Thanks for sharing with us, Todd!

So i wanted to try something new to shorten the time on each headlight i work on.
Originally just got the foam wool pad to try along with M105, but since i saw this thread today. I called in and got a 8oz bottle added along with my order i placed over easter.

I can`t wait to put this to the test!!!

Oh and i got a LHR75 in my order to go along with this set up as well!!

Awesome, make sure to let us know what you think!

Yet another great review Todd! I was on the fence with this kit on my last order and didn`t go through with it. Perhaps this next order will be the one. Thanks again!

Yeah, I don`t wet sand much anymore. And Megs Plastix with a 4" Megs burgandy foam pad works good too.

Re: Headlight Polishing Made TOO Easy?!?! - Detailers All In One Headlight Restoration Polish vs. oxidized headlights

This is exactly the information i needed!!! I`ve been resisting buying a dedicated headlight sealant but have DP Wheel Coating and love it. Last weekend I clean up my DD headlights w/ Meg`s PlastX and can already see them starting to fade. I can`t wait to try this out tonight after a quick prep polish!!

Todd - Would a 17% IPA wipe down after PlastX be ok in place of using DP coating prep polish? And you worked the DP WC until it was gone, and didn`t follow-up by buff it w/ a clean micro fiber right?

    Thanks, Todd!

Headlight Polishing Made TOO Easy?!?! - Detailers All In One Headlight Restor...

I am definitely gonna give this stuff a try with my new mini.

Todd, besides this kit I am also looking at getting some of the Meguiars sanding/finishing discs. I don`t think I need all the grits, but will definitely need a few. Can you recommend some? Or anyone else that has experience in this area.

Thumbs up Re: Headlight Polishing Made TOO Easy?!?! - Detailers All In One Headlight Restoration Polish vs. oxidized headlights

The DP WHEEL COATING was a great tip! Coated mine this morning, along with the tail lights. NEVER LOOKED BETTER!

Even IPA can leave a little residue. I am sure it would fine, but for best results you should use the DP Polish..

Are you using the discs for headlights? Paint? What size?

The Black Label Wheel or Black Label Surface Coatings are outstanding on headlights as well.

Re: Headlight Polishing Made TOO Easy?!?! - Detailers All In One Headlight Restoration Polish vs. oxidized headlights

So, i tried this combo yesterday. But didn`t get the results i was seeking.

I paired up the LC Foam Wool with my GG 6" w/ a 3.5" BP
Each headlight was cut in 2 section, each section received 2 application of the DP AIO polish. About 4+ passes on each section / per application.
    Speed 4-5

Although a lot of impurities was removed, but the headlight is still cloudy, not crystal clear.

    Pics can be found below.

Hmmmm.... I got results with in seconds, but found it best to work the polish for about 8 section passes. How much speed/pressure did you use?
