Frozen Inferno

Still playing with the newly reformulated Blackfire line - this time the Frozen Inferno combination.

Stripped the toppers off of my trusty 2011 Hyundai Sonata, applied the BF products and nearly had to go to the hospital with a serious case of WHIPLASH!

Products used:
CG CWC (foamed)
CG CW (LSP stripping)
CG CWC (2BM)
Blackfire Wet Diamond Crystal Seal
Blackfire Midnight Sun (2 hours later)

Does the CS + MS look much different than WD + MS?

I am really looking at the CS for the ease of use and still getting that BF look. I am thinking of BFWD + CS + CS + CS + CS + CS + CS + CS + CS + CS + CS + CS + CS.....

I think Frozen Inferno yields a bit more "perfect" reflection and depth but, obviously, both are really good. I think it really depends on how much work I need to do to the car. If the paint is really good (like mine), then FI is all you need. If it needs a bit of swirl correction/water spot removal, then RF is a great choice.

Haven`t done the classic Wet Ice over Fire yet (maybe in a couple of weeks). I chose FI because of time available and hadn`t seen pics on it.

Of course, I couldn`t leave well enough alone either. Woke up the next morning at 5:30AM and put the Icing on the Cake.

Looks good ! You are going to have to keep a scoresheet to track all the product uses.

Did you mix the CWC and CW ?

No. I foamed and rinsed the car first to remove the loose dirt. I had premixed a gallon of CW at 1:128 (stripping strength) and applied it via squeeze bottle and microfiber-covered sponge to the paint (needed about 5 oz). This way I could keep it off of the things I didn`t want it on (like wiper cowl). Let it dwell and then used the 2BW of CG CWC to "neutralize" the CG CW and do the final clean.

Modeled after the Valugard ABC system.
