Products you dont like. - 01-19-2012, 08:30 PM

We always have the products you love thread, but the stuff you didnt like, werent user friendly, didnt live up to the hype dont always get talked about. So what are some things that you have tried that you didnt like for whatever reason. Maybe even something that you just wont buy again.
For me its these products.

Sonax gloss shampoo~nothing great about it, reminds me of Megs Gold class, even the smell
Chem guys~G6 hyper dressing~they claim its very durable, but after 1 rain or wash its gone.
Wolfgange clay lub~this came in a kit I got once, it stains the crap out of MF towels, it works but way over priced.
CG synethic detailer~OK product, didnt really seem that slick to me, but once I use up all my QDs Ill just us DP waterless or Ultima WW+ for what I used to us QDs for

Mothers Back to Black. Not very impressed
Pinnacle Shampoo. Overpriced and certainly not one of my favorites out there.
I am sure there is a bunch more but these are 2 that stick out.

Pinnacle Shampoo-expensive and not as much lubricity as expected. It's not that bad, just not what I was thinking.

Meguires Ultimate polish - A huge PITA to get off, and it also blends right in with the paint when dry so it's hard to see where to buff and where not to.

Meguires Hyper Dressing - Maybe I'm doing something wrong here but when I dilute it 2:1 it always drys uneven, and when used on tires it's always gone within 3 days.

Wow Anything poorboys is a bold statement. Their Master Cut is an awesome product.

I love OPT Hyper Compound. Feel free to send the rest to me.

Seriously? Nothing in this line of value? Just too many good products in this line for me. To each their own. If we all liked the same product we would only need one manufacturer. That would make me sad.

Now as a product that I just felt like was an underachiever it would be Megs NXT.

Amazing Roll Off. Overpriced, over hyped, poor cleaning performance on tires and wheel wells. Totally Awesome works better for .99 a quart.

I haven't been burned by too many products. I stick with Prima and Blackfire products which satisfy my expectations.

Interesting to see Pinnacle and Wolfgang make this list. I guess high price doesn't mean quality and performance as expected.

DP Max Wax. It just wasn't near as slick as other brands. I agree with the glass wipes stay away from them.

Wheel Wax - PITA to apply and buff off on intricate wheels or if it is applied to thick.

Black WOW - Greasy, Blotchy, Poor Durability

DP Poli-Coat Paint Sealant - The sample I had was thick and hard to apply properly

Diamondite Crystal Gloss Surface Protectant - Over Priced Spray Detailer IMO

Wolfgang Auto Bathe - Expensive, and not as much lubricity as expected
