Question for you California detailers - 02-26-2010, 11:57 PM

OK so I've got an Aunt in the San Francisco area and when I was talking to her the other day she told me she got her car detailed recently...It was by a company named "Siteler" I guess they do mobile detailing at company's in the area...I checked them out on their site and I don't know what to think. It seemed reasonable to me, Anybody can put decent stuff up on the website, but I couldn't see the quality of work in person. Apparently they do all the work by hand, even polishing. She seemed to be satisfied with the detail, and said the only thing that didn't come out great was the floor mats...but then again it is a silver car so its tougher to tell if somebody hacks that up. If anybody out in CA has some info on these guys let me know. I don't want her going to any hack shops. Let me know if they are OK or if I should have her stay away

I've seen this location I use to live in San Mateo, its a car wash mainly with detailing as a service. I can't tell you much about their work but most of those places are hiring inexperienced people and training them on site. Not your best choice but not the worst either.

I'm about 70 miles north of San Mateo, so getting a car detailed by me takes someone that really wants it done. I would be happy to help her in anyway, just let me know

I wish she was closer to you because I was definitely going to have you do it if she needed me to find somebody. Shes down by Half Moon Bay so that would probably be a haul....I guess she seemed happy with it but if it's ever in need of polishing I'll try to get her to bring it up to you.
