mix ratio on foam gun - 07-31-2009, 07:36 PM

just got done trying out my new gilmour foam gun. five settings.
1-128
1-64
1-32
1-20
1-10

i used the higest setting of 1-10. it produced more than enough foam. just wondering what other users are using on their mix. thanks.

I ordered mine from Amazon since it was only around $30 but it still has yet to come (ordered last week..).. kinda makes me wish I ordered from AG as I usually always do.

Depends on the soap. My experience is that It works better if I take a quart jar and put
very hot water in it. I put the soap in it and put a lid on it and shake very gently. I let that solution set overnite and shake it very gently the next day right before I pour it in the foamgun. Sitting overnite seems to allow the soap to dissolve in the water better and it foams much better. Try it. You be a believer. Talked to several people who have done this and they agree that the overnite solution timing works better.
