My personal vehicles get
303 Protectant used on the plastic and rubber parts and a QD on the metal/painted areas.
FWIW, If you wipe down the CD-2 right after you spray it on, it looks much better. At least it does in my opinion.
CD-2 is not a product that I use very often.
It seems:
Too shiny/greasy
Too much of a cover-up
To tend to spray unevenly (This could be user error)
I think any good vinyl/rubber treatment would work for you. Like most detail products, more is not necessarily a good thing. Try a light coating first. If you think it needs more, you can always add more.
