Mr Clean AutoDry...consensus? - 04-19-2009, 11:12 AM

Picked one up on sale this weekend...haven't tried it out yet.
Just wondering if I threw away my money, or if there is some use for this thing?

I think it is useful, but very limited in what it can do.

I don't believe in grit guards.

Since I haven't used one, I can't comment from experience.
It was discussed in a few threads in the past. I didn't read them because I had no interest, but here's a couple.

Just use it for the final rinse.
But the cartridges don't last long at all.

I pitched mine. Leaves a film on the vehicle during final rinse, that seems to dull the paint.

Agreed.

Also when I used the soap to wash with, it left a fil of junk on my mitt. Making me think it was stripping the LSP.
