    Lots of ways.

A mild APC and a medium bristled brush.

Poorboy`s Trim Restorer works well if you work it in with a brush.

Some guys like using the Magic Eraser from Mr. Clean.

Some guys even like using peanut butter.

I also sell a product called the Wax Blaster that is specifically for doing this.

Yeah, I can`t think of anything more to add; except to wonder if there are still people out there doing the peanut butter thing.

just remember that sometimes the solvents in a wax or polish if left on the trim too long will discolor the trim and the only real fix will be a paint or dye.
I`ve seen people use permanent markers to touch up spots and some that end up painting the trim.
The restorers and other products sometimes end up being a temporary solution that will need to be repeated often to maintain the look.

Re: removing wax on black vinyl trim

Back to Black is a good option if one has been remiss in his application methods. I know this because when I first started detailing the old Black truck of mine using a PC for applying everything from paste to liquids I know that I was a little to liberal with the pad and polish. What the heck...It got applied to everything to many times. With Back to Black and a regular regemine of Trim Restore I was able to keep the white haze from improper application at bay. Wish I had that old back truck back.

WD-40 also works. Spary it on a rag and rub it on the trim.

Re: removing wax on black vinyl trim

I think there are two things that need to happen...one is to clean the old wax out...then protect it.

For me I`ve not seen one product do both as well as trim restore from Steve.

Troy I`ve not used the wax blaster is that a similar product to TR?

I have used Mr.Clean Magic Eraser sponge to get some wax off my trim before. It works great. I have also used Griots dried wax remover with some sucess.

The TR would have added some protection to them and conditioned at the same time
