Saw my next project tonight! - 04-29-2008, 09:41 PM

One of the guys I work with has one of the Ford trucks with the four foot bed, don't remember what it's call but anyways. Its black and has serious overspray on it, its so bad that when you get eye level and look across the hood looks yellow. I took some megs yellow claybar and rubbed a index card sized place on the hood and removed 90% of the overspray so it is possible. I am planning on buying some more agressive clay tonight or tomorrow to try and expedite the process. Under the overspray there are horrible swirls and marring so this is going to quite a project. Any one have any tips for removing such horrible overspray? Ill try and get some before and after pics cause this should be intresting to say the least.

I would just keep going over the area with the clay, it sounds like its doing its job...once you have done that a good polishing should get the rest...
