    Stoners More Shine Tire Gloss

Over the weekend I ran out of Stoners IG, off I go to the local Kragen....While there I scanned threw all the stuff and the sale stuff...nothing other than the Stoner More Shine caught my attention...Aerosol can or liquid spray nozzle..I tend to like non-aerosol products feel like I get more..

The product is a spray on..the texture of it on the tire is somewhat milky but coats the tire very even...Dry time was quick seems like it set up pretty well in 10 minutes, and was completely dry and ready to go in 20 or so...The shine is very wet looking..I suppose that you could reduce this down by buffing the tire a bit or applying by hand with a damp sponge...The finish is non-greasy it drys hard on the tire..so there is no sling...as for its durability I don`t have a clue yet but will see over the next week to two...if its anything like the other Stoners line it will be a fairly durably long lasting product.

I sprayed about 4 to 5 pumps to each tire, how that equates to price per tire I don`t know just yet..I did 2 cars and one large truck and there is still a large amount left.

    Plus
    Quick dry time
    Even coating on all surfaces
    Fast application
    no sling
    non-greasy finish

    Minus
    Over spray on the rim
Kind of expensive (gallon pricing would be appealing)

Cost was $4.99 for 22 oz

I say that if you are looking for a quality tire shine that gives that wet look this is one for you

    Nice review Dave...

I am like you and prefer sprays to aeresol as aeresol cans have great difficulty even with a slight breeze, the product goes every where.

But even with sprays the tend to get on the rim, causing more cleanup...

I always take my tire dressing and pour it into a cup and then apply it with a painters brush..I haven`t seen to many OTC products come in sizes other then the standard sold at stores...I am curious to see the durability.

The way that I work around the clean up of the over spray on the rim...I put the wheel sealant on then spray the tire, carefully then once I remove the sealant I clean the rim of over spray at the same time

    JP

none that I could see....I put this on about 40 to 60 minutes before I finished the car so by that time it was well setup...currently I am using a product that is very similar to B-n-B if I spray it on, some of the tires hold the liquid certain areas...little groves and such....and that`s doesn`t dry to fast so even after and hour once I drive the car it slings from those areas....this one didn`t

I`ve used it for years but prefer the aerosol. It also works wonders on wheel wells, engines, and plastic air dams like those beneath the front bumper.

Yea I could see where it would work real well on those areas as well...again its expensive for that type of use when I can get gallons of water based dressing for much less...I would like to think that this Stoners MS might be available in gallons, but would have no idea where to look

    Anyone?

12 aerosol cans is $35 delivered to my door from Stoners. I don`t consider that expensive at all.
