QD's with UPP & EX - 06-23-2003, 01:23 PM

So I have been doing some experience with both UPP and EX, I like both products alot. They seem to be similar with subtle differences, the UPP seems to have more gloss and the EX more depth.

Using QD's on both of these I have found that Clearkote's Quikshine is great on EX, it adds some gloss. On UPP I like Poorboy's QD+ adds a slight amount of depth.

Thomas,

Yep, sounds like the EX over UPP should be an excellent combo. UPP for gloss, and EX for some depth.

On a side note, If you're going to use the QD+ over the UPP, you may want to consider that you might not be able to layer more UPP, because of the carnauba in the QD+. I don't believe the Quickshine contains any carnauba, so it could be used on either.

good point boss with the bonding.

Quickshine doesn't have any carnauba so safe for everything.

I like Poorboys S&W used as a QD over the EX. Great gloss and depth....imo.

Dream big and be willing to do the work to get there.
