Washing rags used to remove wax?

I bought some flannel rags at advanced auto parts yesterday and used one to remove wax and buff my car. Now the parts of the rag where I used it to remove wax is covered in wax pills.

Do I just leave it as is, or is there a way I should wash them (woolite?). I don`t know what effects putting something with wax on it like this would have on the washing machine either.

Pre soak them in a bucket of detergent before you put them in the wash. That might help.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

just throw them into the washer with regular laundry detergent, no fabric softner, an ounce or two of vinegar if u want and set the machine on regular with hot water. thats all... ive washed my towels a million times and nothing adverse has happened to my machine. except i have noticed the water beads along the side walls. lol...

    - Apply thinner layers next time you wax

    and

    - Don`t use flannel rags :rolling
