I would be interested to here your thoughts on the best bonnets to purchase to use with a PC 7424 for applying and removing Zaino Products (Z5 / Z2 / Z6) on a black 993.

Also recommendations for the appropriate bonnet to apply and remove M #9 swirl remover prior to Zaino treatment.

Thank you.

to tell you the truth, I never use my PC to apply Z, I do use it for SMR of other abrasives with a yellow pad.... If I was going to use it to apply Z I would use the gray pad from CMA:)

I agree with Redcar Guy. My PC does not touch my 993 unless I have a problem I can`t easily fix by hand. The risk is to great taking a machine near the paint.

Here`s my 993 with Souveran after sitting in the garage for 2 months covered with construction dust... she washed up pretty nice.

A few freinds have encouraged me to join TID...since I spend too much time detailing my 993 I figured why stop now?

Jeff, do I know you from RL?

I sure love my 993 and am pretty meticulous about it. I see after snooping around here that I have a lot to learn. I thought I was pretty cool when I did my spring detail like this...

Wash Meg. gold 2X
clay
hand polish Menzerna intensive
RO polish Menzerna micro
Zaino X3
Glazeur by hand

Leatherique
303
wheel wax and paint sealant

Now I see I have neglected some details like alcohol wash, and other things that seperate me from the "pro`s".

I can`t attach yet so here is my photobucket link. See you out there! :)

Welcome to Truth. I am HUGE fan of the 993`s (the best of the modern 911`s IMO).

Thanks...I look forward to trying your products this fall...sounds like you have put alot of time and energy ($ too i bet!) into the waxes and sealants.
